Born in Potosí, Bolivia, in 1989, Dr. José Luis Thenier Villa has completed studies in Medicine and Surgery, graduating with honors, and has continued his specialty studies at the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo. He currently resides and works in Catalonia, where he carries out his surgical and research activities.
Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery
Awarded by the Autonomous University Tomás Frías, a degree approved by the Spanish Ministry of Education and endorsed by the European Union.
Specialist in Neurosurgery
At the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo, performing and assisting in over 1,000 surgeries across all fields of neurosurgery. Training in Pediatric Neurosurgery and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the La Fe University and Polytechnic Hospital in Valencia. Training in Epilepsy and Functional Neurosurgery at Osaka University Hospital, Japan.
